At the conceptual phase of a project, Tidewater can meet on the client’s behalf with the architect and owner to discuss critical visual and performance factors of the building envelope and propose budget-sensitive solutions which satisfy these requirements.

Once a project’s concept becomes schematic, Tidewater, working closely with its industry partners, can accurately forecast the cost of the building’s fenestration systems in a timely manner. We can provide complete cost analysis based on system types, materials, applications, performance and finishes. Using proven estimating technology and tools, we can prepare accurate cost breakdowns so the client can fully understand where the money is being spent. This process begins during schematics and continues through 100% construction documents.

Once engaged with the project early on, we will study the design intent and performance requirements along with the schematic details. From there, we will flag any potential conflicts and offer solutions which can meet the intended function without compromising the intent or bottom line.

Tidewater understands the importance of a project’s budget. During cost analysis we will identify applications, materials and finishes which may be unnecessary or exorbitant in cost and offer more economical solutions which do not sacrifice quality or performance.
